Business: Paradise Canyon Park has operated as a day park for a number of years. Admission is currently $25 per carload (up to 6 persons). Tube rental is $7 per day or guest may use their own tubes. One end of the park is reserved for fishing. Firewood is also available for sale. The park also hosts special events such as birthday parties, celebrations and baptisms. Directions: From Loop 1604 take FM 471 (Culebra Rd.) west approximately 7.5 miles until the road forks with FM 471 going left and CR 1281 goes to the right. A sign will say "Medina Lake - 9 miles" on the right fork. Take the right fork toward Lake Medina. Approximately one mile on the left will be a sign "Paradise Canyon". Turn left. Turn right at the next fork (CR 2615) and follow that road until it crosses the Medina River. Paradise Canyon Park will be on the right one-half mile after the river (just past Paradise Farms).
